Curriculum Vitae
Oscar Sandoval — Product Engineer
The messy, early days of a startup — before anyone's sure it'll work — are
the only rooms I've ever wanted to be in.
Avena Health
frontend developer · 2022 → 2023
head of mobile development · 2023 → now · guadalajara
The things I got to build still make me proud: a PDF module where what the specialist sees is
what their patient receives; Avena Boost, an annual subscription; the quiet patient flows — plans,
habits, reminders. On an app people lean on, I learned that stability is just another word for care.

Pathbooks
full-stack developer · 2021–2022 · edtech
Reading comprehension for elementary students, during the pivot from a B2C app to a B2B
platform for schools. Built teacher dashboards (quizzes, grades, reading progress, reporting),
rebuilt the student reading experience on web when the mobile app hit stability issues, and
shipped a read-along module — read the book while the audiobook plays.

Porth
full-stack developer · 2020–2021 · logistics tech
Logistics platform for international shipping that unified data from 12+ carriers into one app,
centralizing what was normally scattered across a dozen sites. Joined an existing product and made
it better — improving flows and learning how a technical product can simplify messy operational work.

Ilímita
frontend developer · 2020 · software agency
First role. Internal and experimental products for Borra del Café — crypto-payment experiments
and software for board meetings. Where I first turned business ideas into working interfaces.

How I work
Take an idea from zero: understand the problem, design the experience, build the interface,
wire the logic, ship it. That mix of engineering, product, and design is the direction I want
to keep growing in.
